| This course is a perfect mixture of basic and intermediate studio & lighting techniques. It is designed to teach students to accurately manipulate lighting in order to get exact results as well as to make creative studio imagery from portraiture to product. We will learn Studio Portrait Photography (with professional model), Jewellery Photography, Food Photography and Product Photography.
Goodies: Every participant will receive an online gallery with 9 of his/her best photos on the Suddenly I See website. Selected photos from every course/workshop will become part of the main online gallery of the Suddenly I See website.
Location: Toronto and Thornhill.
Limited to: 6 participants
The workshop will concentrate on using different lighting techniques and participants will investigate the following:
- Constructing different lighting scenarios
- The differences between strobe and continues light
- Fashion and glamour lighting
- Still-life setting
- Food photography: styling, split focus
- Lighting the Figure: how to use light to paint the human form
The course includes hands-on instruction, discussions and critiques. We'll be demonstrating lighting techniques, including the "beauty-dish" technique with a real beauty dish and a real model.
We will learn about the double-grid method, shaping lighting and understanding form.
We will work with professional model, hair and make up artist.
The last meeting: Photos retouch demonstration.
We will learn how to enhance our photos like the pros with photoshop; how to apply different styles and filters, correct colors, change compositions and more.
Who should do this courses?
The course will appeal to those who familiar with the basic concepts of the camera (i.e. aperture, shutter speed).
